HEDI SLIMANE LEAVES YVES SAINT LAURENT

After four years as Yves Saint Laurent's creative director, Hedi Slimane announced his exit from the brand and in a statement, the group that owns the fashion house, Kering said that Slimane's exit ended a "four year mission led to a complete repositioning of the brand". 

As Hedi Slimane leaves Saint Laurent, it is already known that Anthony Vaccarello has officialy left his role as Versus Versace's creative director and will be replacing Slimane at the YSL's now vacant chair. 

"While I'm sad to see him leave the Versace family, I wish Anthony Vaccarello tremendous success with his next chapter", said Donatella Versace about Vaccarello's exit.

The creator made history of popularising skinny jeans, giving the indie rock look a new meaning, and a contemporary edge to the brand, leaves the world wondering what's next for Hedi Slimane.
